There appears to be an occasional problem printing spreads from Indesign CS5. Here is the fix:
Also, InDesign CS5 has a default preference set to immediately redraw the entire screen for any changes (such as moving objects on top of a picture). On slower machines this setting can cause jittery and clunky screen redraws. The result is that an object move may end up several stops past the intended spot.
The fix is to go into InDesign > Preferences > Interface > Live Screen Redrawing and select Delayed.
